This hotel is situated in a unique and beautiful setting, surrounded by vineyards, high on a mountain overlooking the picturesque Franschhoek valley. The hotel invites guests to relax and enjoy some of the most spectacular views across the valleys and vineyards of Franschhoek. It spans over three wings, giving guests the privacy one would expect from a boutique hotel. The 16 elegant bedrooms and 6 luxury suites are individually decorated with a classic elegance. The two very different restaurants encapsulate what Franschhoek is all about: good food and good wine in beautiful surroundings. The hotel also offers a lobby, bar and room service. Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower, a double or king-size bed, satellite TV, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. The hotel offers guests a range of activities to choose from, such as massages at the spa centre or even tasting excellent wines from the region. Guests may also take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool, work out in the gym or explore the surrounding area by bike or on horseback. From Cape Town follow the N1 in the direction of Paarl. Take exit 47. Turn right onto the R44 (Pass Butterfly World on the left), and go across the 4-way stop. Turn left onto the R45 (sign posted for Franschhoek) which follows through Klapmuts until reaching a T-junction (still the R45). Turn right onto R45 (via Simondium) towards Franschhoek. Follow the R45 through the town of Franschhoek until reaching Bordeaux Street, turn right and follow the signs to the hotel.
