In the rooms of an old farmhouse that “Drake” Enzo Ferrari purchased, along with the entire area now dedicated to the iconic Maranello factory and symbol of Italy in the world, to make it a company canteen later transformed from 1950 into a proper restaurant, today the creative vein of Massimo Bottura is expressed through the work of his student Riccardo Forapani and of Virginia Cattaneo. The most orthodox regional cuisine – the tortellini from Tortellante are unmissable – is therefore also represented with refined customizations, as with Mòdna, the Sachertorte in a customized version with sou

The top floor of the Executive Spa Hotel opens up like a lounge suspended between the sky and the hills: fine dining by chef Mattia Trabetti overlooks an elegant rooftop, where glass walls let in soft light and a relaxing view of the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Castle. Before sitting down, you can start – or end – the evening in the adjacent Cocktail Bar Aria, also up there, among reflections and panoramic views. There are two tasting menus (but each dish is also available à la carte): “Modena Safari” and the vegetarian “Emilia vegetale”. Browsing the menu, a small map shows the ori

In the upper and most ancient part of the picturesque village, this romantic retreat – which also offers six elegant suites – offers genuine and deeply satisfying cooking. The menu is split between dishes from the land, with numerous recipes that evoke the Emilian tradition, such as hand-rolled tagliatelle with ragù, tortelli in capon broth, or a selection of the finest local cured meats, and seafood offerings distinguished by a modern and lighter touch. In the warmer months, guests may take their place on the small and charming terrace overlooking the main street, ideally suited to savouring

An oasis of taste to the east of Modena: here, the farm estate, also known for its production of balsamic vinegar, welcomes guests with rooms, a small spa and a restaurant immersed in the quiet of the countryside. The cooking tells the story of the Modenese territory through recipes that showcase local ingredients, alternating dishes faithful to tradition – such as tortelli in capon broth or the indulgent zuppa inglese – with others in which the chef allows himself greater creative freedom. The result is an honest yet carefully crafted offering, capable of uniting gastronomic memory with more

An elegantly contemporary dining room punctuated by large portholes seems to herald the menu’s seafood focus: fish dishes arrive at the table, moderately creative yet firmly anchored to prime ingredients. The “nudo e crudo” is the essential selection of the day’s catch served simply, typically featuring at least six different varieties, while the tagliolini with langoustine is elevated with caviar and a creamy white cabbage purée finished with Martini. The heart of the experience, however, remains the quality of the ingredients, the absolute and memorable stars.

The ground floor of the Executive Spa Hotel is home to a contemporary, elegant and bright restaurant. The spacious rooms invite you to soak up the relaxed atmosphere, while the aromas from the kitchen tantalise your senses: from the enveloping notes of ragout on handmade tagliatelle to the rustic scent of guinea fowl cooking slowly in the wood-fired oven. The sea comes to the table with fresh fish dishes, while the heat of the grill enhances fine meats, carefully aged until they are irresistibly tender. The wine list is a journey through the finest wines, and the sommelier, with confident gest
