Hotel Restaurante Elisardo

A unique dining option, occupying the former fish auction house in Portosín. Here, full homage is paid to the building’s history, with fish (grilled dishes are the only option) taking centre stage, although seafood and some meats are also available. The restaurant takes its name from the northeasterly wind (“nordés”) that is a frequent occurrence in the fishing waters of the Rías Baixas.

If you’re unfamiliar with O’Pazo, one of Galicia’s most renowned restaurants for grilled cuisine, you’re long overdue a visit to dine in this unique space created by the Vidal brothers (with Óscar in the kitchen and Manuel in the dining room), where everything revolves around the wood-fired grill. In the kitchen, the focus is on honest and traditional Galician cuisine which stands out for its use of local ingredients and the quality of its meats. Whatever you do, don’t miss the magnificent stone-cooked T-bone steak or the homemade desserts, including the creamy ch

At this restaurant, nestled inside the Hotel Scala although with its own entrance, they like to say that here you can go ‘to enjoy the best flavours of Galicia at your leisure’. In its bright dining room, with a minimalist atmosphere, you can sample cuisine based on Galician recipes, with contemporary starters with a traditional taste (we were blown away by the bluefin tuna belly sandwich), select meats, good seafood and large fish of the day. Their grilled dishes are particularly noteworthy!
