This iconic restaurant is housed in an attractive historical building in central Prague. From one side of the L-shaped room, there is a prime view of the chefs at work in the completely open kitchen. Seasonality and Czech ingredients are the order of the day and elegant, modern and well-balanced dishes are served in a set menu format. The sleek interior has chic features, including a vaulted ceiling, striking chandeliers and a glass wine cabinet. Cheerful and relaxed service and atmosphere. The distinctive shape of the tiles in the kitchen is reprised on both the restaurant floor and the menu.

Two friends run this chic, minimalist restaurant in a stylishly understated way. Available in a longer or shorter form, their tasting menu comprises creative, well-balanced dishes with a strong focus on seasonal produce and Czech ingredients. Don't be surprised to see a sauce being flambéed tableside or smoke rising from a box (containing a delicious brioche glazed with duck fat)! The excellent medium-rare fallow deer also deserves a mention, as well as ‘Lamb, kale, watercress, green tea’. The friendly and attentive front-of-house team, which includes a sommelier, will be happy to recommend an

Matteo De Carli and his wife Lenka Hermanová have been running their restaurant since 2012 after several stops around the world. The beautiful interior is straightforward and modern, with an open show kitchen and a walk-in wine fridge worth seeing as well as a wine fridge wall. Flavoursome cooking has a subtle North Italian bias, and the breads, pastas and ice creams are homemade. Make sure to consider the daily specials - the turbot in puff pastry crust, for exapmle, is a delight! Or let patron and chef Matteo surprise you with a 5-, 6- or 7-course tasting menu. In front of the house there ar

A really interesting modern, open restaurant concept with a fully visible kitchen. They serve a three- or five-course menu based entirely on seasonal Czech ingredients. Without being fancy, the dishes are delicate and elegant, the flavours clear and well balanced. The atmosphere in the large, airy space on the first floor is pleasantly relaxed, and the charming staff are very professional and helpful. The sustainable philosophy followed here is explained in detail – a film projected onto the wall introduces you to the producers. Tip: The Eska bakery located on the ground floor sells house-made

Featuring an interesting combination of Nordic techniques, predominantly Czech ingredients and Asian spices from the owner's homeland, the cuisine here is rather unique. The resulting dishes are full of finesse and pleasing contrasts - served in 12 or 18 courses. The location itself is something special: unassuming from the outside, it has a surprisingly chic interior. Upon arrival, diners are first led to the bar in the cellar for aperitifs and nibbles – a distinctive blend of exposed old brickwork and modern design makes for an atmospheric setting. Once in the tastefully furnished main room,

This spot has all the makings of a favorite restaurant! The modern dining concept is reflected in the relaxed atmosphere and the trendy, urban interior complete with open kitchen and bar, as well as on the menu. The fantastic selection features mouthwatering options such as dry-aged beef and plenty of vegetarian dishes. The kitchen team works closely with local suppliers including KRO Bakery in Libeň, which provides excellent sourdough bread. In addition to a well-curated wine list, there is a wonderful range of cocktails – with or without alcohol. Delightful courtyard terrace.

The 10min tram ride (line 6) from the city centre is definitely worth it! Contemporary Czech cuisine bursting with flavour and aroma goes at very wallet-friendly prices here. Done out in an industrial style, the place has a trendy and minimalist feel – the open kitchen fits perfectly into the picture. The service runs like clockwork, courtesy of a friendly and professional team. At lunchtime, the choice on the menu is smaller than in the evening.

Access to this elegant modern restaurant is via a cobbled courtyard. Inside, a warm colour scheme creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the front area features a light and airy winter garden. The classic cuisine with a Mediterranean touch is made with ingredients of the highest quality; example dishes include lobster soup or sea bass with white wine sauce. There are also different grilled dishes every day. Plus they have good wine recommendations up their sleeve.
