Above a traditional London pub, this family-run budget hotel offers reasonably-priced accommodations and free Wi-Fi. Elephant & Castle and Kennington tube stations can be reached with a 15 minute walk. Each comfortable room at Hour Glass has a TV, free tea/coffee-making facilities, sink and a fridge. There are ample shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, including a washer and dryer. This Victorian pub and hotel still retains some original wood framing. The pub can also serve meals throughout the day. Burgess Park with its playground and barbecue facilities is a 2 minute walk away. Hour Glass is across from a bus stop, allowing easy access to the center of the city. There are a number of restaurants and clubs including the Ministry of Sound in Elephant and Castle, which are just a 5 minute drive away.
