Hotel Monastero Sant'Andrea

Monastero Sant’Andrea, beating heart of spiritualityQuietly nestled in the tranquil and timeless magnificence of the Umbrian hills, Hotel Monastero Sant’Andrea is more than a place to stay: it is a venue full of evocative appeal. Here, in the very heart of Assisi and facing the Basilica of Saint Francis, days are plunged into a state of profound and regenerating peace. Once run by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Gesù Bambino (Infant Jesus), whose mission is to “be servants of the people”, the hotel fully retains the distinctive spirit of warm hospitality and authenticity that makes it so special. Its uniqueness lies in the elements that reflect the importance of the location: the olive grove – among whose majestic branches guests can glimpse the pristine white stones of the Basilica – together with the rare plant species, the fresco of the twelve apostles (a precious masterpiece of the Giotto school of painting) or the chapel (available for religious functions). Hotel Monastero offers the perfect setting for pilgrims, families, groups and solo travelers who long for spiritual experiences surrounded by the history of one of the world’s most significant Christian sites
