This terraced castle is full of character and historical charm. From the herringbone parquet flooring to the impressive chandeliers, this place is a classic restaurant at heart. The views over the Baroque gardens and the Jeker Valley are simply stunning! An aperitif or coffee in the historical Marl Caves is an experience in itself. With a feel for the zeitgeist, Robert Levels breathes new life into French classics. Vegetables are harvested from his own garden (an appealing vegetarian set menu is available), and the sauces are always outstanding. A masterpiece in its own right, his foie gras te

This quintessential Bib Gourmand eatery is embodied by Grégory and Camille’s warm friendly welcome, enhanced by the lovely terrace overlooking the market garden. The couple has created strong ties with local producers, such as Ferme d’Artagnan and Ferme Fourchette, who have become part of the family. The chef crafts their excellent ingredients lavishly and creatively. Examples include medium rare, crispy skinned duck breast with a gutsy gravy, grilled fruity peach and a subtle vibrant tarragon-laced mojo sauce. Come for lunch beneath the vaults of Château Neercanne's old chapel – you cannot fail to be impressed by this charming historical setting that has been given a stylish makeover. The terrace affords spectacular views. The kitchen team serves up a repertoire of classic dishes, adding subtle modern accents and drawing inspiration from their own kitchen garden. House-smoked salmon accompanied by a generous potato salad with gherkins and capers, finished with an indulgent beurre blanc, perfectly captures the spirit here: comforting yet lavish. A gem worth discovering.

Welcome to Gilbert von Berg's creative space. Watch him in action in the open kitchen of his stylishly rugged, nature-inspired restaurant, where he brings his culinary vision to life. He has surrounded himself with a fantastic team so that he can focus on his cooking. The apparent complexity of his sophisticated creations at times belies their simplicity. It is the intensity of the flavours is key here. His ingredient-led cuisine takes its cue from the seasons: more Asian in summer, more French in winter etc. Local produce is given pride of place, and non-native ingredients only feature if the
