In the characteristic Borgo San Giuliano so dear to Federico Fellini, with its narrow streets and colourful houses that were once home to the local fishermen, this excellent osteria celebrates the most typical Romagna cuisine, including the finest charcuterie, fresh homemade pasta (the traditional cappelletti in chicken broth are excellent) and meats, including Mora Romagnola pork, which is used in a variety of dishes. Inside, you'll find a setting that you would traditionally associate with a trattoria, complete with check cotton tablecloths and bottles on display.

From the outside, it recalls an elegant bathing establishment overlooking a blue expanse that seems to know no bounds; once across the threshold, the interiors reveal a whispered, unexpected elegance. Now in its third generation – since the grandfather opened the first establishment in 1946 – Guido is a meeting place for seafood cuisine which, although it begins with apparently simple dishes, reveals nuances of refined elegance and subtle technique. Elegant and refined, the modern atmosphere of this dining room plays host to a cuisine of both land and sea at an excellent level. The dishes draw their inspiration from the most celebrated gastronomic traditions, with occasional forays into more creative territory. The desserts are not to be missed! A quite different formula prevails at lunch, when a buffet is laid out (Sunday excepted).

Just a short stroll from the Arch of Augustus, Dallo Zio is a restaurant that manages to be appealing without becoming luxurious, with a convivial and pleasantly informal atmosphere. The cuisine follows the same spirit: traditional recipes, generally not overly elaborate and largely seafood-based, with cooking methods that respect the catch, whether grilled over embers or baked, alongside the ever-tempting fried specialities.
