Its convenient location near the train station provides easy access to downtown Barcelona, with its vibrant attractions, shopping districts, and cultural venues. The hotel is also well-connected to the Fira Gran Via 2 and the Fira de Barcelona in Plaça d'Espanya (Spain Square), both a short drive away. Each bright, exterior-facing room features modern furnishings and amenities for a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast or a cup of coffee from the 24-hour café. Somewhat tucked away along a pedestrian street in the centre of town, this longstanding hidden gem has passed from one generation to the next, in so doing successfully carrying the weight of family history on its shoulders. In its dining rooms, one for à la carte dining, the other next door to the kitchen and focused on the daily menu, enjoy traditional Catalan cuisine that features specialities such as “blue-footed chicken” (Prat breed), grilled Butifarra sausage, “mountain” chickpeas with lobster and, in a nod to the town’s star product, imaginative desserts featuring cherries in season. In this attractive stone property, featuring numerous designer details, the clear focus is on seasonal ingredients. These can be enjoyed in the glass-fronted dining room with views of the surrounding vineyards that produce the property’s own wine, and a small garden full of tomatoes, lettuce, fruit trees and aromatic plants. The cuisine here is centred around two seasonal menus (Rauxa and Follia). Our recommendation? We especially liked the Corazón de bosque, beef and cucumber vinaigrette, which is accompanied by three types of bread made in-house.

Situated on the seafront, where it faces a lot of competition, it is clear that this is not your typical seaside restaurant. Inside we find spacious and well-maintained facilities with a contemporary feel (an open kitchen, a glass-enclosed cold room with a fish display and even a large table that can serve as a ‘chef's table’), and a modern menu based on quality market produce with international touches. They complement their offering with a tasting menu.
