Cinelandia is one of new developments of Buenas Hotels. Its name is a tribute to the area that housed, between the years 1931 and 1960, the major movie theaters of the cultural circuit in São Paulo. The hotel occupies the same area of the renowned Cine Brodway, which was demolished to make way for the current building, designed by renowned architect Ramos de Azevedo, creator of several postcards in the capital. Believing in the potential of recovery and in that nostalgic ambience of appreciation for the the downtown area history, the building was completely renovated in 2010, keeping its original classical façade, to offer its guests all the comfort, quality and convenience – for the fairest prices practiced in the area. With 84 apartments, Cinelandia has its privileged location as one of its key features, based just a short walk away from avenues Ipiranga and São João, the shopping hub of 25 de Março, the Monastery of St. Benedict and the traditional Bar Brahma and Gallery of Rock.
