This converted farmhouse has been given a modern facelift that has kept its charm intact. In a spacious, long room, tables are set out beneath a striking groin-vaulted ceiling; the kitchen, service counter and microbrewery have an open design. The game dishes and the items cooked on the Josper grill, for example, are interesting options. Reasonably priced lunch.

Only regional, sustainably sourced ingredients are used in the kitchen, and the menu is intentionally concise. Dishes such as beef tartare with wild garlic mayonnaise, pickled shallot and herbs are refreshingly simple. Many components are produced in-house, including jus, oils, jams and compotes; the tea
