Guests consistently praise the central location near the lake, beach, and pedestrian zone, along with the warm hospitality of the host and staff. The historic building features charming interiors and a highly appreciated shared terrace and courtyard. Minor drawbacks include limited kitchen supplies and consumables, air conditioning that is often restricted to one room or weak, and some older building features such as uneven floors, basic linens, and limited electrical outlets.

The cuisine is meticulous in its details, with dishes that tell the story of the territory through refined presentations. The tasting menu celebrates lake products, while the à la carte selection strikes a balance between lake, land, and garden. Don’t miss the “Del Leone” spaghetti: freshwater prawns, ginger, and lime in a fresh and spicy embrace.

The most attractive space in this restaurant is its contemporary, almost Milanese-style veranda-dining room which boasts relaxing views of Lake Garda, with sailboats bobbing on the water ruffled by the famous Ora wind, and the peaks of Trentino in the distance. The Italian cuisine served here is prepared simply, allowing the quality of the ingredients (many of which are sourced locally) to shine through. Fish from the lake takes pride of place, although saltwater fish also features. There’s also a good selection of wine.

The creative recipes are influenced by the Trento region, as well as elsewhere in Italy and across the globe in dishes that awaken guests’ curiosity and delight their palate.
