This place is popular, and with good reason. The small menu is packed with regional classics – the hearty Czech dishes, including braised hare leg, pork cheeks and duck gizzards, as well as delicious desserts such as sweet yeast dumplings, are a real treat. And then there is the wonderful bread and fine pastries from the adjoining bakery! The select ingredients are not only beautifully prepared in terms of flavour and craftsmanship, but you also get a sense of the heart and soul that goes into the dishes. The decor is simple, with a slightly rustic feel. In the space at the front, the kitchen

Featuring an interesting combination of Nordic techniques, predominantly Czech ingredients and Asian spices from the owner's homeland, the cuisine here is rather unique. The resulting dishes are full of finesse and pleasing contrasts - served in 12 or 18 courses. The location itself is something special: unassuming from the outside, it has a surprisingly chic interior. Upon arrival, diners are first led to the bar in the cellar for aperitifs and nibbles – a distinctive blend of exposed old brickwork and modern design makes for an atmospheric setting. Once in the tastefully furnished main room,

This spot has all the makings of a favorite restaurant! The modern dining concept is reflected in the relaxed atmosphere and the trendy, urban interior complete with open kitchen and bar, as well as on the menu. The fantastic selection features mouthwatering options such as dry-aged beef and plenty of vegetarian dishes. The kitchen team works closely with local suppliers including KRO Bakery in Libeň, which provides excellent sourdough bread. In addition to a well-curated wine list, there is a wonderful range of cocktails – with or without alcohol. Delightful courtyard terrace.

This pub-style place is loud and lively. Both the ambience and cuisine present as an unpretentious, modern interpretation of a traditional inn. Seated on a long bench at small wooden tables, diners tuck into this contemporary take on Czech cuisine and it is quite simply a delightful experience. Dishes such as potato dumplings filled with braised wild boar, red cabbage and bacon sauce are packed with flavour and full of soul – you can tell this is a team that knows what it is doing. The food pairs well with a glass of wine or a good beer.

An exceedingly inviting atmosphere awaits you in this restaurant tucked away in a small side street in Prague's New Town. The decor features light natural tones, modern furnishings and wall art. The kitchen team serves up seasonal Czech cuisine, combining traditional and contemporary influences. They also make a point of using locally sourced sustainable produce. In the evening, a tasting menu comprising five or eight courses is available. The sommelier recommends the perfect wine to accompany your meal - there is a beautifully curated selection. Shorter menu at lunchtime.

The team here takes a highly professional approach, which is evident not least in the food. Dishes such as "St Jacob's mussels, blood orange, yuzu, crispy wafer, miso mayonnaise" and "lamb shoulder in diaphragm, Brussels sprouts, pumpkin croquette, almonds, pickled shallots" are prepared skilfully prepared with an emphasis on flavour. Easygoing yet highly competent and attentive, the service is also a highlight, including astute wine recommendations. Furthermore, the minimalist interior design, featuring decorative details such as a distinctive wine rack, artworks and modern pendant lamps make

Good food and warm hospitality await in this 1905 townhouse located near the Vltava River and Kinský Garden. The enthusiasm of the team is palpable. The cosy, somewhat shabby-chic decor and the extremely dedicated, friendly and courteous front-of-house team make for a wonderful atmosphere. The food is cooked with respect for tradition, but also with a modern twist. In the morning, everything revolves around breakfast, but in the evening, the five-course set menu takes centre stage – think mouthwatering dishes such as beef cheeks with rose hip, cranberry and truffle, or the classic Bohemian sou

A lively establishment, where it is fun to have a meal! This is partly down to the stylish atmosphere and the adept service from the pleasingly laid-back front-of-house team, but it is first and foremost thanks to the tasty and honest Asian cuisine, prepared for you by the Asian-born chef-owner duo. They will treat you to beautifully authentic street food and soul food dishes... the task of choosing is not an easy one. Sharing is also an option if you would like to try more of a variety. Tip: The cocktails are fantastic too!
