Pelegrini
Modern Cuisine, Contemporary · ★ Michelin

In the heart of the old town, the restaurant occupies Villa Pelegrini-Tambača, a Renaissance palazzo situated next to the Cathedral of St. James. Chef Rudolf Štefan, deeply knowledgeable about the region, distinguishes himself through constant pursuit of local products: he collaborates with top winemakers for exclusive wine production, makes his own olive oil, and prioritizes land and sea ingredients from Šibenik and its surroundings. Two tasting menus of four and six courses offer a modern reinterpretation of traditional Dalmatian cuisine with creative touches and refined presentations. Among

A beautiful, cosy, well-run country tavern that has stood out for its excellent value for money for many years. The menu focuses on earthy cuisine, where meat is the absolute protagonist: straightforward, flavourful and hearty dishes, including the suckling pig, served in generous portions. Despite fair prices, quality remains high and uncompromising. In warm weather you can eat outdoors in a lovely outdoor seating area, but reservations are recommended. A perfect stop for those seeking authenticity and taste.

Just steps away from the Split waterfront, the entire experience at Krug revolves around the kitchen, located at the center of the dining room and surrounded by an L-shaped counter table that allows guests to interact directly with the chefs. Each dish is presented by the cooks, who share its history and inspiration, thereby highlighting the identity of the place. The cuisine is contemporary, with a strong focus on the product and a deep connection to the local area, reinterpreted with creativity. Almost all the ingredients come from the sea or the surrounding hinterland, while the vegetables

Located in a quiet alley near Split's central square, the restaurant has a fantastic location: central yet peaceful. Externally it may go unnoticed, but the interior features elegant details, and the courtyard has a large, tranquil outdoor patio. The restaurant offers a wide à la carte selection, capable of satisfying all tastes. The small, open kitchen is run by a talented chef whose offerings are fresh and thoughtful, with dishes that combine regional and modern influences. The presentation is pleasing, the portions are generous, and the value for money is attractive. The service, always fri

A short walk from the town centre, this restaurant with elegant tones welcomes you to a beautiful veranda room with refined furnishings that play on shades of yellow and blue. The kitchen interprets the flavours and traditions of the Mediterranean with modern techniques and creative cues, and in the summer, the open-fire grill takes centre stage – a spectacle that allows you to watch the chefs at work, especially in the preparation of fish and seafood. Along with à la carte choices, you can enjoy a three-course menu or a five-course tasting menu, also available with wine pairings – a highly re

Tucked away in the alleys of the small Dalmatian town of Trogir, hidden very near the bridge connecting the island to the mainland, this delightful spot offers a distinctly Mediterranean cuisine in an authentic setting, characterized by typical Dalmatian stone. The food is flavorful and based on local seafood, with occasional nods to Italian flavors, such as truffle pasta or a fresh burrata appetizer. At lunch, three budget-friendly set menus are available, alongside a few à la carte entrées. In the evening, the atmosphere is particularly pleasant, especially in the small courtyard overlooking

Located on the island of Čiovo, just a five-minute walk from Trogir’s historic center, the restaurant is located in the Bifora Heritage Hotel, a finely restored fourteenth-century building. Chef Robert Predag Zmire offers refined, contemporary cuisine founded on quality ingredients and modern, precise technique. Fish is the star, though meat dishes and vegan options are available. The wine list, while not extensive, is well-selected, offering excellent value with numerous Croatian labels available by the glass.
