Gellivs

Modern Cuisine, Creative · ★ Michelin

€€€€

Gellivs boasts a unique and atmospheric setting within the Antica Opitergium museum, surrounded by archaeological remains that tell the story of the town from the beginning of the Roman period, although the contemporary-style furniture and decor here bring us right into the modern day. Here, chef Alessandro Breda creates cuisine that is reassuringly traditional in dishes such as potato mousse, cooked and raw cod, quince and puntarella greens, and more modern in specialities such as the Treviso-Tokyo lobster. An impressive wine list which includes Italian and international labels completes the

Osteria Borsò Gambrinus

Venetian, Seasonal Cuisine · Bib

€€

"Casual and relaxed, the atmosphere is just like that of a typically traditional tavern, consisting of a series of pleasant little dining rooms, while the menu combines local specialities with fresh seafood dishes. "

Parco Gambrinus

Modern Cuisine, Seasonal Cuisine

€€

A rustic and romantic setting provides the backdrop for the traditional and creative cuisine served here. It is made from typical local produce with an emphasis on ethical and sustainably produced ingredients (vegan and gluten - free options are also available). Exotic animals inhabit the park, where a stream is home to the house specialities of crayfish, eels and sturgeon. The restaurant also offers a few comfortable guestrooms nearby.

Il Credenziere

Seafood

€€

Situated in a small country hamlet, this restaurant is run by a chef from Puglia, whose origins can be glimpsed here and there in his dishes. The influence of the Veneto, where the chef has been working for some time, is also evident in the local dishes which appear alongside more creative options on the menu.

Osteria Borgo Ronche

Modern Cuisine, Seafood

€€

With only a handful of tables – all the more reason to reserve – and a contemporary, streamlined yet welcoming setting, this intimate spot showcases the chef-owner’s resolutely seafood-focused cuisine, though a couple of meat options round out the menu. Preparations and pairings remain largely classic, as seen in the gratinéed Breton scallops, while raw seafood also makes an appearance, sometimes unexpectedly atop pasta, as in the standout spaghettoni with cacio e pepe and red prawn tartare.

La Ciotola

Seasonal Cuisine, Classic Cuisine

€€

A fresh, dynamic venue along the road to Pordenone, thoughtfully run by the Cover brothers. The kitchen tells tales of both land and sea: earthy, satisfying dishes such as the juicy young heifer entrecôte wrapped in golden potatoes with mustard dressing, and tempting seafood offerings such as the fragrant, comforting linguine with scampi alla busara. Quality ingredients take center stage! At lunch, the menu streamlines and service quickens, with lighter prices to match; come evening, the carte expands and the experience becomes complete and gratifying.

16.6km

La Ferrata

Regional Cuisine, Friulian

€€

The walls tell stories through photographs of locomotives and the warm glow of copper pots and lids at this century-old osteria. Rustic charm and conviviality define this welcoming venue, nestled in the picturesque historic center of Pordenone. Generous portions steeped in tradition emerge from the kitchen: cured meats, hearty cuts, and local cheeses share the stage with simple, authentic dishes such as beef cheek braised in Refosco wine, served alongside creamy polenta, a rustic, flavor-rich experience.

Sostansa

Italian Contemporary, Regional Cuisine

€€€

In the heart of the city, just beyond the restricted traffic zone, this venue tells culinary stories through dishes with a distinctly urban character. Here, the finest market offerings are selected with respect for seasonality, then transformed into generous, seductive creations: from the land, bergamot-lacquered squab with Treviso radicchio, its legs served in a salad with pears and walnuts; from the sea, turbot paired with broccoli rabe perfumed with garlic, olive oil, and chili. An experience that plays between tradition and modernity, with bold flavors and surprising harmonies.
