The experience begins with the impressive drive up to the Falkenstein! Nestled between the peaks of the Allgäu Alps, the Boutique Hotel Blaue Burg is only accessible via a private road – and the view is breathtaking! The small restaurant is where Simon Schlachter wins diners over with a modern and creative dining concept revolving around sharing. All the elaborate courses that make up his set menu consist of several small dishes – perfect for sharing. Even the drive up to the Boutique Hotel Blaue Burg is an exceptional experience: the view of the region is breathtaking, with a new photo opportunity at every turn. Against this sensational backdrop, the Schlachter family, known for their dedication to the job and their reliably good food, serves seasonally and regionally minded cuisine at Restaurant 1250 – making it a wonderful alternative to the fine dining restaurant, PAVO. The terrace with a view in the direction of the castle and Austria is simply divine. Good to know: they also serve lunch.
