Gooderson Dumazulu Lodge & Traditional Village

The bungalow complex is situated in the heart of Zululand, near Hluhluwe, in a tranquil environment, about 290 km from Durban International Airport. Each of the 21 independent units is designed to resemble different tribes of Africa. The air-conditioned bungalow complex also comprises a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, a bar, a pub and a restaurant. Room and laundry services are provided, and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park. The bungalow-style units allow guests to experience traditional cultures first-hand. Each unit has rich colours of the earth in the interior and features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a double bed, TV, safe and a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. The air conditioning is individually regulated, and each unit has a balcony or terrace. The hotel offers traditional village and cultural shows plus traditional lunch.
