In a remote Atlantic location at the heart of the Costa da Morte, this restaurant is impeccably run by chef Fernando Agrasar, who works here alongside his wife (who runs the front of house), his eldest son (in charge of bread and desserts) and Eva Fares, head chef and the partner of one of their children. The gourmet cuisine on offer is showcased on a tasting menu built around seasonal ingredients which highlights in a contemporary way Galicia’s gastronomic bounty (we particularly enjoyed the red mullet with a seaweed pil-pil and teardrop peas from Coristanco), as well as an à la carte menu fe

Found inside the boutique hotel of the same name, which in turn takes its name from the nearby Balarés beach, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches on the Costa da Morte. In the restaurant, with its elegant rustic atmosphere, you will find traditional cuisine based on a fixed-price menu and another tasting menu, always using local seasonal produce and modern techniques. Interesting facts: The menu often mentions some of their suppliers, as their motto is ‘Territory & Proximity & Commitment’.

A private dining room is also available for those requiring more privacy. Dishes that appear on t

Right in the heart of town, just a short stroll from the port, there is a contemporary restaurant where everything revolves around the grill. Their menu, specialising in grilled dishes, attributes its success to the quality of its ingredients, which is why they offer large cuts of wild fish depending on market availability (perfect for sharing) and select cuts of beef (such as Rubia Gallega, Frisona or Holstein) that they age themselves.
