Rotana

Rotana is an Abu Dhabi-born hotel management group founded in 1992 by Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr, with Beach Rotana in Abu Dhabi described by the company as the starting point of its journey. Rotana says it has more than 100 properties globally, with hotels across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Türkiye. Its portfolio is not presented as a luxury-only collection: the official brand pages position Rotana Hotels & Resorts as upscale, Rayhaan as modern hospitality rooted in Arabic heritage, Arjaan as hotel apartments for longer stays, Centro as relaxed city hotels, Edge by Rotana as independently styled hotels operated with Rotana support, and The Residences by Rotana as long-term living. For loyalty, Rotana launched Rotana DISCOVERY on 1 December 2025 through Global Hotel Alliance’s GHA DISCOVERY platform; it also says Rotana Rewards Exclusive and Rotana Rewards Classic continue to operate.
