Getting Around
There is no local airport. Travelers must transfer via Kumamoto Airport or Fukuoka Airport, followed by JR trains or buses to reach Yamaga Station. Local exploration is primarily done on foot or via local buses.

Spring and autumn offer pleasant weather, ideal for outdoor onsen experiences and strolling through historical streets. While summer is hot, it provides a unique onsen experience, and winter allows for enjoying warm open-air baths against the cool air.
