Le Parc Les Crayères
Once Louise Pommery's mansion, this small château (early 20C) standing in superb grounds exudes classic elegance. Using premium ingredients, chef Christophe Moret concocts refined, approachable dishes that are as generous as they are delicious – spider crab infused with sea fennel, or glazed mallard duck with juniper and elder. Rosalie Boucher's desserts are cleverly devised for maximum lightness. These gems feature in the various set menus but also – an increasingly rare pleasure – on the à la carte menu. The wine list includes almost 900 champagnes. Superb guestrooms and suites.

Le Parc Les Crayères in Reims offers modern cuisine within a refined Champagne estate setting. Positive reviews highlight exquisite seasonal dishes, precise sauce work, and impeccable service, describing the experience as sublime. However, negative feedback points to inconsistent food quality, poor meal pacing, and overlooked details such as birthday acknowledgments. Some diners criticized the menu for lacking boldness and value. While many praise the elegant atmosphere and courteous staff, others find the experience underwhelming for a two-star establishment. Travelers should weigh their expectations against potential inconsistencies in service attentiveness and culinary innovation.
Suitable for diners seeking refined modern French cuisine and an elegant Champagne estate atmosphere, though those expecting meticulous service details should proceed with caution.
