Where to Base
Stay in the city center for easy access to local culture and history, or near Quinta da Baroneza for a quieter, nature-focused experience. The central area offers better connectivity to amenities, while the outskirts provide tranquility and proximity to the golf course and zoo.
Getting Around
Due to the rugged terrain and dispersed attractions, renting a car or using taxis is recommended. It takes about an hour to drive from São Paulo. Public transport within the city is limited, making self-driving the most flexible option for exploring Zooparque and other sites.
Best Season
Visit year-round, but spring and autumn offer the most pleasant weather. Summers are rainy, while winters are cooler. Avoiding the rainy season ensures a more comfortable experience for outdoor activities like visiting the zoo or playing golf at Quinta da Baroneza.
