Where to Base
It is recommended to stay in the city center or along the Gualeguaychú River. These areas are close to main shopping streets, restaurants, and the carnival parade routes, allowing easy walking access to most attractions and excellent transport connectivity.
Airport Connection
Gualeguaychú does not have a commercial airport. Travelers must first reach a nearby major hub city and then continue by road. Local transportation is convenient, with taxis and buses sufficient for daily travel needs within the city.
Best Season
February to March is the Carnival season, when the city is most lively and hotel demand peaks. For a quieter experience, consider visiting in other months when the weather is pleasant, ideal for city strolls and cultural exploration.
