La Chèvre d'Or

★★ Michelin€€€€Creative

Château de la Chèvre d'Or boasts an exceptional location: Perched high up on the flank of a rocky hillside in a medieval village, it commands jaw-dropping views of the Riviera hinterland to the rear and of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea to the fore. After feasting your eyes on your surroundings, it's time to sit down to dinner, courtesy of the chef and his brigade, which includes talented pastry chef Florent Margaillan. Previously chef of Granite, Tom Meyer, also a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, has replaced Arnaud Faye here. He demonstrates the solid qualities for which he is already renowned:

Château Eza

★ Michelin€€€€Modern Cuisine

In this magical setting, the Mediterranean Sea reveals itself in all its splendour from the terrace, which feels as if it is suspended between sky and earth. Book early to secure the best spots! But the view does not eclipse the cuisine of Justin Schmitt. No stranger to prestigious kitchens, this veteran chef is a dab hand at cooking up precise modern cuisine with plenty of personality eg green asparagus from Provence with fresh goat's cheese ice cream and elderflower, and pearlescent cod wrapped in seaweed. The desserts are on a par – think velvety matcha rice pudding and tarragon sorbet.

Château Eza in Èze is renowned for its stunning views of the French Riviera and elegant atmosphere. Many reviewers praise the exquisite modern cuisine, beautiful presentation, and attentive service, describing the experience as dreamlike. However, some guests question the value, noting that the food can be unremarkable or mediocre relative to the cost. Negative feedback highlights issues with slow service, poor meal pacing, and feeling neglected. While the ambiance and scenery are consistently lauded, the dining experience varies significantly based on service execution and personal expectations regarding quality versus price.

Ideal for diners prioritizing spectacular views and elegant ambiance, but those sensitive to service speed and value may want to manage expectations.

Les Remparts

€€€€Mediterranean Cuisine

This establishment, located in the Chèvre d’Or Château, ticks all the boxes: a modern, comfortable cliffside terrace with a jaw-dropping view of the Mediterranean and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, paired with high-flying, decadent Mediterranean fare. Ceviche of first-class fish, aloe vera jelly and a citrus-fruit dressing; grilled greater amberjack, stuffed courgette blossoms and bourride sauce, and a wickedly tempting trolley of ices and pastries to finish.

TripAdvisor review sample · 3.9/5 · 80 reviews

Located in Èze, Les Remparts offers stunning Mediterranean views accessible via steep steps, though opinions on the experience are mixed. Service receives polarized feedback; while some praise the warm and attentive staff, others report slow responses and indifference. Food quality is similarly debated, with highlights including tuna, lobster, and burrata, contrasted by complaints about overcooked rice, insufficient salads, and disappointing goat-themed dishes. The ambiance is defined by its spectacular scenery, which many find sufficient even when visiting only the bar. Value is frequently criticized, with numerous reviewers noting high prices for a non-starred establishment, citing issues like small wine portions and unclear charges, leading to a general perception of poor cost-effectiveness.

Suitable for visitors prioritizing scenic views over culinary excellence, with clear expectations regarding service and menu details.
