85 Bistrot

€€Lombardian, Italian

This simple, modern, family-run trattoria with a welcoming ambience is the kind of restaurant that everyone would love to have as their local. The owner-chef, who has plenty of experience working in Milanese restaurants, is a real culinary expert who creates traditional dishes from Milan but also from further afield. Here, the popular breaded cutlet is served thick so that the delicate flavour of the veal can be enjoyed to the full.

Manna

€€Modern Cuisine

Hidden away in a quiet district, this semi-pedestrianised area comes to life in the evening thanks to the restaurants nearby. The bar at Manna serves excellent cocktails, with a few tables outside on the street, while inside the new, elegant and minimalist-style dining room you’ll enjoy personalised cuisine that skilfully combines tradition and creativity. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a business lunch, with a faster menu available for the latter. Among the desserts, we highly recommend the delicious and not-to-be-missed Tarte Tatin.

Manna in Milan offers modern cuisine with a 4.0/5 rating. Guests praise the bold, innovative flavors blending tradition with creativity, highlighting dishes like duck with foie gras. The renovated space features a minimalist industrial aesthetic, described as elegant yet occasionally gloomy. Service is generally professional and friendly, though some note pacing issues or intrusive management. Portion sizes are often considered small, leading to mixed views on value. Firmly aimed at a trendier crowd, this restaurant has soft lighting and an Oriental feel. Finger's Garden offers Asian fusion cuisine in Milan, noted for its charming garden views and fashionable interior. The ambiance is generally praised, particularly for outdoor dining in summer, though some find it less vibrant in winter or bad weather. Service is typically friendly and discreet, but reviews highlight significant organizational failures during large group events, leading to poor pacing. Food quality receives mixed feedback: while many appreciate fresh ingredients and well-presented dishes like wagyu carpaccio, others report inconsistent execution, such as improper sashimi cuts or lackluster flavors. Value is debated; some find the bill medium-to-high relative to the experience, especially when culinary expectations are not met. It remains a visually appealing spot, but diners should be aware of potential inconsistencies in food preparation and service efficiency during peak times.

Suitable for small gatherings prioritizing ambiance, but large events require careful consideration of service capacity.
