Saint Georges Premier

€€€Contemporary, Modern Cuisine

Standing in the king’s old pheasant grounds in Monza’s picturesque park just a stone’s throw from the famous racetrack, this restaurant has a refined and elegant feel. Here, the menu features Mediterranean fish recipes alongside regionally inspired dishes such as the excellent Milanese-style chop with mashed potatoes and sweet-and-sour shallots, as well as the occasional French-influenced recipe in a nod to the history of the park itself. The restaurant comes into its own in summer, when its attractive terrace looking out at the lush surroundings adds to the appeal.

TripAdvisor review sample · 4.2/5 · 80 reviews

Saint Georges Premier, nestled in Monza Park, offers an elegant and green setting highly praised for its atmosphere. Service is generally professional and friendly, though some guests note pacing issues or reduced quality during large events like weddings. Food quality is polarized: while many commend the refined cuisine and excellent wine list, others report poor execution, such as improperly cleaned shrimp and bland dishes. Value perception varies; standard dining is considered fair for the context, but experiences using coupons may suffer in quality. It suits couples seeking a romantic ambiance and high-end modern cuisine, but those prioritizing consistent culinary precision should proceed with caution.

Ideal for couples seeking a romantic park setting and refined modern cuisine, best experienced without using discount coupons.

Silvestro

€€€Modern Cuisine, Mediterranean Cuisine

A cosy, welcoming restaurant with a contemporary feel situated on the edge of Monza’s park. Owner-chef Giuseppe Silvestro is young and talented, with excellent experience in renowned restaurants, and very precise ideas about the type of cuisine he wants to serve here, namely personalised and imaginative dishes inspired by the region and the Mediterranean. We particularly enjoyed the morone fish served with a Piennolo cherry tomato cream and the “mantecato” made with fish scraps.

TripAdvisor review sample · 4.8/5 · 80 reviews

Silvestro holds an impressive 4.8/5 average rating across 80 reviews. Food quality is the standout feature, with diners praising paccheri, mixed grilled fish, scallops, spaghetti alle vongole veraci, tagliatelle with duck ragu, and fresh seafood appetizers. Service is frequently highlighted, particularly the attentiveness of staff member Darío. The atmosphere is described as romantic, authentic, and welcoming. While a minority of reviews cite issues with meal pacing, cleanliness, or value, the majority emphasize high-quality ingredients and excellent flavors, making it a strong choice for memorable dining experiences.

Recommended for travelers seeking high-quality Mediterranean cuisine and a romantic ambiance.
