Viracopos/Campinas International Airport VCPSBKP

Viracopos/Campinas (VCP) is best understood as Azul’s main Brazilian hub rather than a global-alliance fortress hub. Azul is not in Star Alliance, oneworld or SkyTeam, but VCP is central to its domestic network and also supports selected international flying; GOL and LATAM also appear at the airport, while cargo is a major part of VCP’s identity. For passengers, the layout is simple: Terminal 1 is the working passenger terminal, with domestic and international flows split by zones and controls rather than by separate terminals. Downtown Campinas is close enough for a real layover if you have time, but São Paulo city is much farther and usually not a practical short-layover target.
