Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is a major Delta Air Lines hub and therefore has a strong SkyTeam feel, with Delta and Delta Connection dominating many domestic and regional flows. It also sees service from the main U.S. network and low-cost carriers plus selected international flights, so it works more like an efficient Intermountain West connecting hub than a sprawling global mega-hub. The passenger layout is comparatively simple: one terminal, one main security flow, and two long concourses, A and B, connected airside by underground tunnels. The airport is close to downtown Salt Lake City, and the TRAX Green Line is usually the cleanest city-center option for passengers without much luggage. For connections, the big practical issue is distance rather than terminal confusion: some gate pairs can mean a real walk, even with moving walkways and the newer River Tunnel improving access to Concourse B.
