Rhodes International Airport RHOLGRP
Rhodes International Airport “Diagoras” (RHO) is the main air gateway to Rhodes, operated by Fraport Greece. Treat it as a busy island leisure airport rather than a major global hub: it handles domestic Greek links plus a large seasonal international programme across Europe and nearby markets. Aegean/Olympic Air are the most relevant network carriers here; Aegean is a Star Alliance member, but RHO is not a large alliance hub with broad interline transfer infrastructure. The passenger layout is compact, with old/new terminal areas and Schengen/non-Schengen processing inside the same airport campus. In summer, build in margin for check-in, security and passport control, especially for non-Schengen departures where border queues can lengthen.
