Chubu Centrair International Air NGORJGG
Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), also branded Centrair, is Nagoya’s main international airport and the air gateway for central Japan. For frequent flyers, think of it as a compact regional hub rather than a Tokyo- or Kansai-scale global connecting hub: ANA and JAL are important on domestic Japan routes, with Skymark, Peach, Jetstar Japan and other domestic carriers also present, while international service is weighted toward East Asia and Southeast Asia. Star Alliance, oneworld and SkyTeam carriers all operate or appear through partners/codeshares, but NGO is not a single-alliance fortress. The airport is easy to use because rail, buses, ferries, hotels and both terminals connect through the Access Plaza; the main watch-out is Terminal 2, which is a separate low-cost/international terminal area with fewer premium facilities.
