Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is a key Canary Islands gateway rather than a global alliance hub. Its strongest frequent-flyer role is regional: Binter Canarias and Canaryfly use it heavily for inter-island flying, while leisure, mainland Spain, UK, Nordic and other European services make up much of the international mix. It is not a oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam hub and there is no big alliance flagship lounge scene. Aena lists the passenger operation as one terminal, Terminal T, so transfers are on foot within the same complex; the practical split is by gate area and by Schengen/non-Schengen passport control rather than by separate terminal buildings. For Las Palmas, Global bus line 60 is the clean public-transport choice to San Telmo or Santa Catalina, with taxis better for tight schedules or late arrivals; allow roughly 20-35 minutes depending on traffic and stop.
