Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is the main air gateway for central Vietnam and one of the country’s key airports, but it is not a large intercontinental hub. For frequent flyers, think of it as a compact regional airport with strong domestic trunk links to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City plus international service focused on East and Southeast Asia.
