Bamako-Senou International Airport BKOGABS
BKO, still widely called Bamako-Senou and officially Modibo Keita International Airport, is Mali’s main international gateway rather than a major global hub. It is most useful as a point-to-point airport for Bamako and as a regional connector: Sky Mali is based here, while carriers such as Air France, Turkish Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Ethiopian Airlines, ASKY and other West African operators link Bamako with regional capitals and larger hubs in Paris, Istanbul, Casablanca, Addis Ababa, Lome and Dakar. Alliance presence comes through individual airlines, not through a true alliance hub operation at BKO.
