Kotoka International Airport ACCDGAA
ACC is Ghana’s capital airport and a practical West African gateway. The official name has been restored to Accra International Airport, though “Kotoka” is still widely used by airlines, taxis and travelers. It is not a major global-alliance hub, but Africa World Airlines uses Accra as its hub and PassionAir is based here, with a mix of domestic Ghana routes, West African regional flying, and long-haul service to Europe, the Middle East and North America. Terminal 3 is the main international and regional terminal; Terminal 2 handles domestic flights. For frequent flyers, the airport is compact compared with mega-hubs, but connections involving immigration, baggage reclaim or a domestic/international terminal change need padding.
