UTair Aviation

UTair Aviation (UT/UTA) is a Russian airline headquartered at Khanty-Mansiysk Airport, with hubs listed at Surgut and Moscow Vnukovo. It is not listed as a member of oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam, and it runs its own Status frequent-flyer program. For travelers, UTair is mainly a Russia-focused scheduled carrier with domestic, regional and some international passenger services, plus charter and helicopter work linked to western Siberia and the oil-and-gas sector. When choosing or crediting flights, treat it as a stand-alone program rather than a global-alliance carrier, check the operating carrier on codeshares, and note that the European Commission’s Air Safety List bars listed carriers from operating to, from or over EU territory.
