Transaero Airlines

Transaero Airlines (UN/TSO) was a Russian airline registered in St. Petersburg, with Moscow-Domodedovo listed as its base/hub in the sources used. It operated domestic and international scheduled services as well as leisure-focused charter flying, with multiple service classes and its own frequent-flyer program, Transaero Privilege. The sources used do not identify membership in oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam. For travelers, the key point is that Transaero is a historical carrier: its own site says flight operations ended after its air operator certificate was annulled in October 2015 and the company later entered bankruptcy proceedings, so there are no current Transaero flights to book or credit.
