JetSMART Peru
JetSMART Peru (JZ/JAP) is the Peruvian arm of JetSMART, an ultra-low-cost airline group. Its main base is Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport, with Arequipa also listed as a base. JetSMART is not listed as a oneworld, Star Alliance, or SkyTeam member; instead, it uses American Airlines AAdvantage as its loyalty program through the American-JetSMART partnership. For travelers, the network is primarily low-cost passenger flying within Peru and across nearby South American markets, with a fare model built around paying only for the extras you choose, such as larger bags or seat selection.
