Tigerair Taiwan

Tigerair Taiwan is a Taiwan-based low-cost carrier with its main base at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and a secondary base at Kaohsiung. Its network is regional rather than long-haul or full-service, with scheduled passenger flying focused on short- and medium-haul leisure routes in East Asia and Southeast Asia, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. For travelers, the key decision points are typical low-cost-carrier tradeoffs: compare fare bundles and paid add-ons before booking, check the actual operating airport and Taiwan gateway, and do not assume alliance mileage credit. Tigerair Taiwan runs its own tigerclub member-reward program; I did not find it listed as a member of oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam.
