AirAsia (India)
AirAsia (India) (I5) was an Indian low-cost airline with Bengaluru as its main operating base. It was later renamed AIX Connect and was merged into Air India Express on 1 October 2024, so travelers should now look for Air India Express (IX) when checking schedules, bookings, baggage and service policies. The successor carrier is part of the Air India group and is positioned as a low-cost airline serving Indian domestic routes and short-haul international markets, with major operations around Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. It is not listed as a member of oneworld, Star Alliance or SkyTeam; Air India Express presents Tata NeuPass as its loyalty program.
