Air Algerie

Air Algérie (AH) is Algeria’s national carrier, based in Algiers and centered on Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport, which Air Algérie describes as its hub linking Algeria with Europe, Africa, Canada, China and the Middle East. The airline’s own site describes a four-continent network with 43 international and 32 domestic destinations. It is best understood as a full-service national and regional/international carrier rather than a low-cost airline: its published travel-experience pages show Economy, Business and First cabins, meals on medium- and long-haul flights, baggage information, lounges and airport services. Air Algérie runs its own frequent-flyer program, Air Algérie Plus, and is not listed among the current members of oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance.
