A listed building standing directly on the market square, the 17C Liefrink House has an appealing exterior. Behind the pretty half-timbered façade is a charming, modern restaurant (formerly “essWebers - Küche am Markt” but now with a new name) which serves seasonal, international cuisine. The chef's set menu is complemented by a number of à-la-carte options.

The high ceilings, steel girders, large mullioned windows and sections of exposed brick wall show a conscious effort to retain some of the industrial charm of this old factory building: these features have been merged into the chic, modern design. The tasty cuisine has international and seasonal roots; smaller menu at lunchtime. Friendly service, and the adjoining boutique hotel has trendy guestrooms and rooftop sauna area.
