AlpenGold Hotel Davos
Welcome to the Grisons Alps! Davos has not only a long history in winter sport & hiking activities but used to be also a respiratory treatment center due to its clean, dry air and is home to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. -Davos is around 2.5 hours away from Zürich Airport by train or 2 hours by car. -The hotel is located just outside Davos-(Dorf), in-between a farm, a forest, and the "Flüela pass" access road. It is elevated and front-facing rooms (Deluxe and higher) have a wonderful view over Davos. -The hotel is an architectural landmark that resembles a lying pine cone. -We offer 21 outside parking and 108 inside parking spaces which cannot be reserved and are subject to availability (25,00 CHF per day and lot). -We offer a regular shuttle to the Davos-Dorf train station and to the "Parsenn Davos" cable car station (about 1.2 km). -Free Wi-Fi in all public areas as well as in the guest rooms. -By paying the city tax all guests receive the Davos-Klosters card with discount at participating partners and free public transport inside Davos (subject to change, offering currently sponsored by the destination office). The spa is accessible for children under 16 years until 6pm. -Please contact the hotel directly for connecting rooms, roll-away beds and baby cribs to check availability & pricing. -Popular winter activities in the area are skiing, snowboarding, sledging (horse carriage), fat-biking, air-boarding, ice skating, tobogganing and snow-shoe hiking. -Popular summer activities in the area are hiking, trail running, mountain biking, street cycling, motor biking, horse carriage riding, scenic train tours, golfing and barbecuing. -In the winter month we have a ski rental shop on site (Angerer Sport Shop, Branch office AlpenGold Davos). -Full American breakfast buffet daily from 7.00-10.30h in Brasserie "Sapori" (45.00 CHF per adult and day). -Nescens SPA opened from 7am to 9pm. Gym is open 24/7. -Parking price is 30 CHF per night, 25 CHF is offered by hotel's FO if a guest commits to stay in the garage for the whole stay
