Henny Modern Retreat

This long-established restaurant enjoys a charming location in the town centre, directly on the Leda River – in summer, the lovely terrace with a view of the museum harbour beckons! Inside, you can expect all the trappings of a traditional inn with the odd rustic maritime touch. Mario E. Brüggemann, who began his culinary career here as an apprentice, prepares fresh, flavoursome cuisine rooted in regional traditions and seasonal produce. The menu features items such as shrimp soup, North Sea plaice fillets or a duo of venison. Lunch options are a little more limited.
