Within rooms exuding a modern and essential vibe, blanketed in dusky evening lighting, Marco Baglieri’s excellent cuisine becomes sophisticated and almost baroque, paying homage to the urban style of one of Sicily's most enchanting cities. Part of the Country House Villadorata resort in the hills outside Noto, this restaurant boasts a delightful setting with the sea as a backdrop, surrounded by gardens which provide many of the vegetables used in the cuisine. Matteo Carnaghi is at the helm in the kitchen, with excellent results and a cuisine is firmly rooted in Sicilian ingredients, offered through two tasting menus of flexible length, with dishes also available à la carte.
