- Received two consecutive upgrades to a 1-bedroom suite with a large bathtub and separate shower without special requests.
- Breakfast features Asian options like smoked salmon and dumplings; afternoon tea scones were bad but other items acceptable.
- Rooms are new but have maintenance issues like low water pressure and a leaky bathtub plug that required workaround.
- The hotel beach is very small; visitors are advised to go to nearby Retidian Beach which has marshmallow roasting events.

- No traditional lounge, but provides 'Club Experience' benefits including breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour, and 1-hour daily water equipment rental. Food portions are large and filling.
- High value during Spring Festival with Visa discount (~$1180/5 nights). Upgraded from Mountain View to Ocean View room with great scenery.
- Rooms are small; two 28-inch suitcases make movement difficult. Bathroom has only a bathtub, no shower, hardware slightly inferior to domestic standards.
- Dining is diverse and Asian-friendly (stir-fry, noodles). Happy Hour hot food is sufficient to replace dinner.
