This chalet in the upper reaches of the village has been converted into an intimate restaurant by young couple Thomas and Estelle Flachaire, who met while working at the renowned Maison Troisgros in Ouches. The chef boasts a near-perfect CV and his experience makes itself felt in a series of healthy, light dishes crafted from seasonal, often locally sourced ingredients. The kitchen serves both traditional dishes, including beef tenderloin with a morel mushroom sauce, and slightly more modern and creative recipes such as carpaccio of sea bass with passion fruit. For Savoyard specialties, guests can head to La Baratte, the restaurant's ground-floor eatery, to tuck into authentic cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.

It's simple, tasty and rustic as can be.
