Set within 17 acres of gardens and parkland in the Wye River valley, Llangoed Hall is just nine miles west of charming Hay-on-Wye. With a history dating back to 560 AD, the present building largely reflects the Edwardian vision of architect Sir Clough William-Ellis, who completed its reconstruction in 1919. The carved timber staircase and impressive 95-foot pillared gallery showcase his distinctive style. The hotel offers 23 diverse guest rooms and a 24-hour reception. Business travelers will appreciate the available conference facilities. Each room features elegant Elanbach fabrics and furnishings, a private bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a television, radio, and direct-dial telephone. King-size beds and central heating ensure a comfortable stay. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
